Why Choose IRATA Rope Access Training

Rope access can reach areas that are difficult to access with scaffolding or platforms. The right method depends on the task, site conditions and risk assessment.

Training develops the rope skills, safety awareness and rescue knowledge needed for work at height.

Our rope access training courses help candidates:

  • work to recognised IRATA standards
  • understand rope manoeuvres, rigging and safe working methods at height
  • carry out rescue procedures effectively
  • follow strict health and safety requirements
  • meet employer and client expectations on site

Level 1 is the first step for new entrants. Experienced technicians can progress to Level 2 and then Level 3 when they meet IRATA's entry requirements.
