tailored to those working at height, with a desire to progress from a Rope Access L2 technician
to a Rope Access Level 3
technician furthering their career in industrial abseiling, to a site safety supervisor.

Rope Access Level 3
Training Duration;
5 Days (Monday - Friday) 1 Day Assesment (Saturday)
Key modules of the IRATA Level 3 Rope Access
Course are;
Rope access equipment inspection
Management and records of work parties and tasks
Risk assessment and method statements (RAMS)
Advanced rescue and casualty management
Attendees completing the Rope Access Level 3
training will be able to demonstrate;
Effective supervision of rope access work projects
Understanding in relevant work techniques and legislation
All the skills and knowledge required of IRATA rope access levels 1 and 2 technicians
Showcase comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
Suitable first aid training has been undertaken (and hold an appropriate and valid first aid certificate)
Knowledge of the IRATA training, assessment and certification scheme (TACS)
Be familiar with the contents of the IRATA International Code of Practice (ICOP)

Prerequisites
Held an IRATA Level 2 certificate for at least 12 months
A minimum of 1000 hours of experience in rope access work at level 2
