How We Help Wind Operators

Wind Turbines Experts

Regular blade inspection helps wind farm owners plan maintenance and identify damage. Dangle provides wind turbine maintenance services for onshore and offshore sites.

Our work includes blade inspection, maintenance and repair. We help clients assess blade condition and decide what work is needed.

Poor blade condition can affect performance and create safety risks. An inspection gives you information to plan repairs and manage your assets.

Tell us about your turbine type, location and access needs. We’ll discuss the scope, site requirements and suitable inspection or maintenance methods.

Wind Turbine Maintenance Services

Dangle supports wind turbine inspection and maintenance from our base in Belfast. Our rope access teams work at onshore and offshore locations.

We help reach high and complex structures where access is difficult. Tell us about the asset, site conditions and work required so we can plan a suitable approach.

Our services support renewable energy projects across the UK and Ireland.

  • What renewable wind services do you provide in Belfast and Northern Ireland?

We support wind operators with wind turbine maintenance, blade inspections, blade repair, protective coatings and rope access solutions across Belfast and Northern Ireland, with mobilisation available across the wider UK. Our teams help reduce downtime by completing work safely at height without the need for large scaffolds or MEWPs in many situations.

  • Do you work on onshore wind turbines, offshore wind, or both?

We primarily support onshore wind projects and port-side/offshore support where scope, access and logistics allow. If you share the site location and turbine type, we’ll confirm feasibility and propose the safest access plan.

  • What types of wind turbine blade repairs can you carry out?

Typical scopes include leading edge repairs, laminate repairs (subject to spec), small composite repairs, defect preparation, sealing, and protective coating application to help extend blade life. All work is planned around the manufacturer/operator requirements and site rules.

  • Can you complete blade inspections as well as repairs?

Yes — we provide visual inspections (and can support other inspection methods where required) to identify damage, coating failure, erosion and areas needing remedial work. You’ll receive a clear summary of findings, photos, and recommended next steps so maintenance decisions are easier.

  • How do you access turbines without scaffolding?

Where appropriate, we use IRATA rope access systems to reach blades, nacelles and structures efficiently. Rope access often reduces disruption, avoids heavy plant, and allows targeted work at height—always subject to a site-specific risk assessment and method statement.

  • Are your technicians certified for working at height and rope access?

Yes — our technicians are trained and competent for working at height, with rope access carried out by appropriately certified personnel. We operate with a strong safety culture and documentation that clients expect on renewable sites.
