Industrial Painter Training – Silver is Dangle Academy’s intermediate industrial painter training package. It combines foundation industrial painting skills with one specialist practical route in either abrasive blasting or airless spray painting.

This course helps delegates develop a stronger understanding of protective coating work, surface preparation, application methods, equipment awareness, safe working practice and basic quality control.

The Silver pathway is suitable for delegates who need more than foundation training but do not yet require the full Gold package covering both blasting and spraying.

Silver Route Options

Silver Route 1 – Abrasive Blasting and Surface Preparation

This route focuses on abrasive blast cleaning, surface preparation, blast media, equipment awareness, surface cleanliness, surface profile, process control and preparation standards such as SA 2.5.

Silver Route 2 – Airless Spray Painting

This route focuses on airless spray equipment, spray set-up, safe operation, spray techniques, application control, fault awareness, equipment care and clean-up.

Delegates completing Silver choose one of these specialist routes. Delegates who require both blasting and spraying should book the Industrial Painter Training – Gold pathway.
